Dr Anthony Place

Anthony is a Chartered Australian Engineer (Electrical) and registered Australian and New Zealand patent attorney.  Holding a Bachelors Degree (first class honours) in Computer Systems Engineering (JCU), Gradual Diploma in IT Law (UTS), Master of Intellectual Property Law (UNSW), Masters of Engineering Science (UNSW) and Doctoral Degree in System Identification (JCU). 

Experienced in intellectual property development and protection throughout a career in engineering and legal services, and having a strong technical research and development background in systems, electronics, telecommunications, signal processing and software development.  

With over twenty years of experience associated with all aspects of professional and consumer products from concept to commercialisation.  Having worked as an engineer and team leader in R&D start-ups, and as a patent and trademark attorney for individuals, and MSEs through large corporate clients. 

Now based in Emu Plains at the base of the Blue Mountains, Anthony can attend your office for meetings across Sydney and through Greater Western Sydney (including Blacktown, Canterbury-Bankstown, Camden, Campbelltown, Cumberland, Fairfield, Hawkesbury, Hills Shire, Liverpool, Parramatta, Penrith, Wollondilly) and the Blue Mountains.
